漢高祖輕慢辱罵，四位皓首隱士便歸隱山林；
周武王動用干戈，伯夷叔齊寧可餓死不食周粟。
南陽的故友諸葛亮幸運地沒有錯失機遇；
先生您（嚴光）為何也選擇高臥不出仕呢？
但您（嚴光）的清高風節卻在伯夷與四皓之上，
千古以來，真能激勵貪婪與懦弱之人。
客星（指嚴光）夜晚在釣臺灘閃耀光明，
讓人想象當年他面對光武帝座時的情景。

The Han emperor scorned, the Four Graybeards hid away;
King Wu of Zhou took up arms, Boyi starved to death.
The old friend in Nanyang, fortunate, kept his day;
Why then, my master, did you also hold your breath?
Yet your pure breeze stands above Boyi and the Gray;
For a thousand years, it truly stirs the greedy and frail.
The Guest Star shines at night o'er the Fishing Shoal bay,
Imagining the time you faced the imperial veil.
