靈異的源頭向東延伸，連接著遙遠的雁池。
水流從崩裂的懸崖峭壁間傾瀉而下，仿佛來自九霄雲外。
瀑布如長劍倚靠著雲斷處的青天，
又似生絹懸掛在明月照耀下的泉室之中。
江聲澎湃，雨勢急促，猶如深秋氣象；
水花飛濺如雪片冰花，即使在五月也格外豐饒。
請不要像《北山移文》那樣責備我離開，
將來我定會赴石樑之約，再來此地。

From cracked cliffs and shattered rocks, it plunges from the ninth sky.
Like a long sword leaning against the sky where clouds break,
Or a raw silk scroll hung in the moonlit cavern of springs.
The river's roar and rain's force haste in autumn's third month,
Snowflakes and icy blossoms abound even in fifth moon's warmth.
Spare me the reproachful writ to leave these northern hills—
In coming years, I'll heed the call to the stone bridge high.
