天色催促著百官上朝，破曉時天色晴朗，
五星隱沒，只有北極星格外明亮。
我讀完了三千字的皇帝詔書，
傳臚官唱名，傳來了我位列第一的聲響。
'名實相符'這兩句話雖然質樸，
但我自始至終都秉持著真誠的節操。
皇恩深厚，難以圖報，
我願竭盡我愚鈍的忠心，了卻此生。

The sky urges the court assembly as dawn brightens clear,
The Five Stars hide, leaving the Pole Star shining here.
Three thousand words of imperial decree I've read,
The herald's voice announces my name, at the head.
Though 'name and truth' are simple words, plain and sincere,
From start to end, my conduct holds integrity dear.
The Emperor's grace runs deep, too vast to repay,
I vow to spend this life in loyal service, come what may.
