在文戰中揮毫，偶然拔得頭籌；
在金華待詔，也屬偶然為之。
在白社中，驟然被推舉為宗主；
赤誠之心，旋即遇到了聖明的知遇。
雖已直上九霄，榮耀達到極致，
屢次承受皇恩，每次出仕卻總覺遲緩。
身居臺司要職，閒暇終究不多；
親近師長，已不及當年舞雩詠歸之時。

Wielding the brush in literary battle, I chanced to capture the flag;
Awaiting orders at Jinhua was also a casual endeavor.
At the White Society, I was abruptly chosen as the leader;
My sincere heart soon met with the sage's recognition.
Though reaching the ninth heaven, glory is at its peak,
Thrice receiving imperial grace, my departure is often delayed.
My duty in the censorate leaves little leisure;
To be close to my teacher is not as in the time of the Rain Dance.
