深入探究天命，應以理為主宰，

寄語給寒氈相伴的鄭老，
等待提起這番話，來破除昏昧迷茫。

Most worldly scholars stray into byways, misguided,
In silent sitting, seeking mind, they deem the Way revered.
Knowledge without practice lacks substantial power,
A form devoid of use is but an empty word.
To probe the Mandate of Heaven, principle is sovereign;
To fully grasp human relations, nature self-abides.
I send this word to you, old Zheng, sharing humble mat,
