仁、義、禮、智、信這五常之中，信如同土地，能使萬物生長。
惻隱、羞惡、辭讓、是非這四端都存在於自身，其本體與功用都歸於實在。
先生立足於實在的根基，外表方正而內心正直。
鍛造出鐵一般的脊樑，立志獻身保衛國家。
神明授予他五個字的符籙，使他獲得巨大而堅固的力量。
不被聲色動搖，不為利害恐懼。
因此這堅固堂，如山屹立，色澤如玉。
祝願您珍愛精神，既使自己長壽，也使國家長存。

Among the Five Constants, fidelity stands firm, / Like earth that fosters growth and life's full term.
The Four Beginnings, rooted in the self, / Find substance in their use, not empty pelf.
Our master treads the solid ground of truth, / Square without, yet upright from his youth.
His spine is iron, forged and unbent, / To guard the state, his life is wholly spent.
Five mystic words the gods to him conveyed, / A strength unshakable, in him arrayed.
Not swayed by sounds or sights, his will holds fast, / Nor by gain or loss is he downcast.
Thus stands his Hall of Firmness, tall and clear, / Like jade's pure hue, a mountain without peer.
May he preserve his spirit, keen and bright, / To bless himself and bless the land with light.
