是誰製作了這輕盈的風箏來壯麗遠方的景致，
仿佛嫌棄飛鳥的技藝不夠繁多新奇。
才剛憑藉一根絲線乘著風飛升而去，
便有愚鈍的孩童仰起頭來觀看。
未必是因爲碧藍的天空可以到達，
只是偶然能夠終日停留便算安寧。
沒有扶搖直上的大風，滄溟大海又如此遙遠，
可笑那大鵬鳥奮力搏擊高空，像你這樣（的風箏）卻難以做到。

Who crafted this light kite to grace the distant view,
As if to mock the birds for their limited flight.
It rides a single string, borne by the wind anew,
And draws the simple child's upturned gaze in delight.
Not that the azure sky is its destined abode,
But by chance it finds peace in lingering all day.
Lacking the whirlwind's lift, the vast sea is its road,
How laughable, the roc's great feat seems child's play.
