傍晚的彩虹隨著雨水飄過山頂，
是誰將這片青雲倒插著懸掛高空？
可惜彩虹兩端空垂著落入大海，
不讓它筆直地徑直衝向天空。
它忍受不了暮靄的遮蔽，
遇到斜陽也顯得可憐。
真希望乾渴時能將它痛飲，
且讓溪流溝壑減少些清澈的深淵。

Evening rainbow follows rain across the mountain peak,
Who planted this green cloud, inverted, hanging steep?
A pity its two ends fall empty to the sea,
Not letting one straight shaft pierce heaven's canopy.
It cannot bear the dusk haze that obscures its light,
And meeting the slanting sun, it stirs a piteous sight.
If only thirst could come and drink it in great draught,
To teach the streams and gullies their clear depths be less fraught.
