秋夜漫漫，我自己無法察覺何時破曉，
百種昆蟲一齊鳴叫，聲音交織纏繞。
時節轉換恰好促使它們如此，
就連蟋蟀鼓動翅膀也發出聲響。
偷盜的老鼠爭相喧鬧，
蛇在暗處窸窣爬行，身影潛藏。
唯獨東邊人家的公雞，
費盡心思，爲分辨黑夜與天明而啼唱。
