世俗潮流源源不斷，人們依舊模稜兩可，
浮華的風氣日益衰微。
我的毛病在於終究不能堅持正確，
人們的言論為何喜歡似是而非？
何況正處在天下艱難的境地，
想要揭露奸人尚未發動的機心。
關鍵在於用方法規正君王的心意，
否則就應該歸隱山林。

The worldly tide flows on, ambiguous and deep,
The fading customs wane, their glory now asleep.
My ailment lies in failing to uphold the right,
What others praise as joy seems but a dubious light.
Especially in these times of hardship and despair,
To thwart the wicked's schemes before they fill the air.
The key is to correct the ruler's heart with art,
Or else retire to hills, and from the world depart.
