病中覺得萬事都令人厭倦，但這狀態倒也適合自己；
我悠閒地登上高城上的樓閣。
我來是爲了讓清風驅散白日的炎熱，
坐著，厭倦了遠方的落日，看著天空低垂。
郊野的草木廣闊而朦朧不清；
落日時分，燕子和麻雀爭搶著棲息之處。
我臨風嘆息，卻無人能夠領會——
我那股浩然之氣直飛而去，爲天上的彩虹增添光彩。

Sick, I find all things tedious, yet it suits me well;
I climb the idle tower on the city wall.
I come for the cool breeze to shed the sun's fierce heat,
And sit, weary of distant suns, to watch the sky hang low.
The trees and grass of the idle plain stretch dim and vast;
At sunset, swallows and sparrows vie for roosting places.
I sigh into the wind, but no one understands—
My soaring spirit flies to add to the rainbow's glow.
