一年將盡，景象荒涼，暮色中容易引發悲傷；
西風日夜不停地施展著寒冷的威勢。
秋天到來，寡婦們尤其辛勤地織布；
可有哪位遠行之人還沒有禦寒的衣裳？
我常常擔憂自己衰老的容顏會隨著季節變換；
徒然看著落葉依附著秋風飄飛。
自古以來，最是那些爲秋天而悲傷的人；
何況我這個悲秋的客子，至今還未歸家。

When autumn comes, the widows weave with even greater toil;

Throughout the ages, those who grieve for autumn are the most;
How much more so when the autumn mourner is a wanderer not yet home.
