Awake from dreams, the golden palace scenes feel worlds apart;
Chanting on, we watch the moon's reflection sink in the Silver Stream.
In frantic dance, silk-girdled waists greet the song of "Eighteen";
Flushed with wine, jade cups gleam and pass from east to west.
When can I fulfill my wish to take a simple boat,
And with you, snow-clad oars in hand, seek out Shanxi's stream?
