三月金明柳絮飛，岸花堤草弄春時。

sān yuè jīn míng liǔ xù fēi， àn huā dī cǎo nòng chūn shí。

ㄙㄢㄩㄝˋ ㄐㄧㄣㄇㄧㄥˊ ㄌㄧㄡˇ ㄒㄩˋ ㄈㄟ，ㄢˋ ㄏㄨㄚㄉㄧㄘㄠˇ ㄋㄨㄥˋ ㄔㄨㄣㄕˊ。

樓船百戱催宣賜，御輦今年不上池。

lóu chuán bǎi xì cuī xuān cì， yù niǎn jīn nián bù shàng chí。

三月裡，金明池畔的柳絮紛飛，

岸邊的花草正嬉戲於春日時光。

樓船上百戲表演催促著皇帝宣賜獎賞，

但今年，御駕的車輦不再來到這池旁。

In the third month, golden willows shed their catkins in flight,

Along the banks, flowers and grasses play in the spring light.

On the tower-ships, a hundred shows urge imperial gifts to be bestowed,
