手持天子的符節，
此刻欣喜地離開朝廷。
大漠的夜晚依然泛著白光，
寒冷的山巒春天也不見青綠。
山峯衆多常常遮蔽了日光，
地域偏遠仿佛要使星辰迴轉。
我與同行者只前往使命所向之處，
馬鈴叮噹，片刻也不停歇。

I hold the imperial token, a journey to undertake,
With joy I leave the Dragon Court, for the distant land's sake.
The vast desert at night still holds a pallid light,
The cold mountains in spring refuse to turn green and bright.
Peaks so many often block the sun from view,
A land so remote seems to pull the stars askew.
My companions and I go where our mission leads,
Our jingling bridles never halt, fulfilling the king's deeds.
