西江橫臥，宛如一道玉色的彩虹，
西山排列，好似一幅錦繡的畫屏。
荒涼的城池只有斗一般大小，
這座樓閣卻爲何如此高峻崢嶸？
炎熱的山嶺狀貌如同隴地與蜀地，
三州之地連通著蓬萊、瀛洲般的仙境。
人煙稀少的村落能有幾處，
零星幾點，好似清晨的星星。
有誰認得那大海的彼岸，
無數秀美的山峯呈現著無盡的青翠。

The western hills array themselves like a painted screen.
The desolate town is as small as a dipper,
Yet how lofty and grand this tower stands!
The fiery ridges resemble those of Long and Shu,
The three prefectures connect to Penglai and Yingzhou.
How few are the villages with their signs of human life,
Scattered dots like the morning stars.
Who knows the world's end lies beyond the sea,
Where countless lovely peaks wear endless shades of green?
