傍晚時分我登上北固山頂，
俯視著下方的南徐古城。
廢棄的營壘望去一片蒼茫，
山巒與河流在此交錯縱橫。
千年以來究竟誰能真正擁有此地？
六朝的戰爭只留下空幻的痕跡。
豪傑的氣概已無處可尋問，
古墳旁正有農人在耕作耕耘。

And gaze down on the Southern Xu Town below.
The ruined ramparts stretch far and wide,
Where hills and streams in crisscross patterns flow.
Who, through the ages, could claim this land as his own?
The Six Dynasties' wars have left but dust and stone.
The heroes' lofty spirit is nowhere to be found,
While ancient graves are tilled by farmers on the ground.
