我們曾經一同登臨秋日的山巒，
如今感慨，如同蘭亭集會，對比今昔變遷。
世間的炎涼不過像能燙手的熱度，
談笑風生也未必能觸及彼此的真心深處。
從前滔滔不絕的言語已隨風波逝去，
日後寥寥的約定因歲月深遠而模糊。
居所雖近，難道人心就該疏遠？
詩酒結社的盟約，應當重新找尋、再度踐行。

We once climbed autumn hills together, side by side,
Now, like the Orchid Pavilion, past and present divide.
The summer's heat can only scorch the hand, it's true,
And light talk may not reach the heart, to know the real you.
Our former words have vanished with the wind and wave,
Our later promise fades as years their cycles pave.
Though near in dwelling, why should we be far apart?
Let's seek again the pledge of wine and poet's art.
