在風吹拂的屋簷下，我披散著頭髮，
太陽漸漸西沉，暮色愈發深沉。
鷹用利爪擒住了野外的麻雀，
蜘蛛結網獵捕著飛舞的蚊子。
萬物都能爲自己的生計謀劃，
我的一生也不過是徒然勞碌。
塵世的因緣難以讓我注目留戀，
傍晚的興致寄託於高遠的青雲。

Beneath the eaves, I let my hair down in the breeze,
As the sun sinks low, the dusk begins to freeze.
A hawk's claw snatches a sparrow from the wild,
A spider's web hunts mosquitoes, fierce and mild.
All creatures strive with their own schemes in sight,
My life too toils in vain, from morn till night.
Worldly ties are hard to fix my eyes upon,
My evening thoughts soar with clouds, free and gone.
