他能化解自身顯赫的聲名，能預知幽暗不明的事情。
每日只是你的心在糾纏擾動，而你的耳目因此惑亂不明。
心境空廓而不去營求，那麼誰能擾亂你的性靈？
神奇其實主宰著你，它的通達無需命令。
唉，我豈會不知道黃帝與焦螟的典故？
止息心念、廢棄形骸，才可稍稍聽聞雷霆。
只是如今親身遇到了這道理，唯獨我捕捉到了它細微的聲音。

I've often met a True Man, who could hide poison and be still,
Who could take in filth as if pure, change rankness to fragrance at will.
Who could dissolve a body's dazzling fame and bright display,
And know the dark and hidden things before they come his way.
It's only your own heart that clutches and disturbs your peace,
And makes your eyes and ears confused, their clarity to cease.
Be vast and empty, free from striving and from all design,
Then who could ever trouble or disturb your spirit's shrine?
The wondrous and the divine truly dwell within your soul,
Their penetration needs no order, is beyond control.
Alas! Do I not know the tales of Yellow Emperor and the tiniest gnat?
To still the heart and waste the form, then thunder's roar seems somewhat.
But now that I have personally encountered this truth so rare,
For me alone its fleeting whisper lingers in the air.
I hollow out my heart to ponder deeply on this speech,
And write this down as a stern warning, its lesson to beseech.
