戰士們頂著酷熱，衝入蒸騰的霧氣，
舌燥唇乾，畏懼著漫長的路途。
將軍在馬上籌劃著精妙的計謀，
遙望著青山，手指向梅樹。
不知不覺間，齒頰生津，
這好比共飲醇厚的美酒。
漢朝的鼎器未能扶持，天下竟至分裂，
可惜啊，他不是那調和鼎鼐、治理國家的人。

With parched tongues and dry lips, they dread the long road.
The general on horseback devises a fine plan,
Gazing afar at green hills, he points to the plum tree.
Unconsciously, their teeth and mouth water with longing,

The Han tripod remained unsupported, the realm split apart—
Alas, he was not the one to blend the soup of state.
