我倚靠著西樓，心中湧起怎樣的情感？
這情感好似浮雲，處處滋生，無處不在。
青翠的山巒層層疊疊，遼闊千里，
晴光下翻紅的樹葉，映得整條江河一片明麗。
郊野的景色散落分佈，漁村顯得那麼微小；
它們斜斜地襯托著秋光，雁陣橫空飛過。
回望京城的方向，我卻無法歸去，
蘆花如雪，縈繞著這江邊的城池。

Feelings like drifting clouds, everywhere they appear.
Green peaks upon peaks, a thousand li of vastness wide,
Red leaves turned in sunlight, brightening the whole riverside.
Scattered, the rural hues, a tiny fishing village lies;
Slanting, they set off autumn light, wild geese in formation flies.
Looking back, to the imperial city, my return is denied,
Reed flowers like snow around the river city abide.
