多情就像疾病一樣難以醫治，
心中的愁緒比折斷的藕絲還要紛亂。
在落花飄零、馬兒行進的地方爲你送行，
在殘月當空、倚靠樓閣的時刻眺望故鄉。
回憶時常闖入春意深濃的夢境，
感慨到了極點反而變成酒後深深的悲傷。
大概對你總是言不盡意，
只好在彩箋上閒來吟詠合歡詩篇。

Its threads more tangled than the snapped lotus root's strands.
I see you off where fallen blooms meet horse's hoof,
And gaze toward home when waning moon leans on the tower.
Memories often haunt the dreams of deepest spring,
And deepest feeling turns to sorrow after wine.
Words fail to tell you all that's in my heart, my lord,
So on bright paper I idly pen these love poems.
