登上望海樓極目遠眺，視野開闊寬廣，
海潮湧來的地方，仿佛是天際的根基。
來自日邊之地的商船，航程遙遠漫長，
水波之外的亭台樓閣，景象一片朦朧昏昧。
巨大的鱷魚出現時，須得提防禍患與傷害，
大雕朝向北方，各自振翅高飛。
將軍懷有歸還銅柱、安定邊疆的意願，
俯視著南海，氣勢雄渾似要將它吞沒。

From the Sea-View Tower, my gaze stretches far and wide,
Where ocean tides arise seems the very base of the sky.
Ships from sunlit lands traverse a distant, weary ride,
Pavilions beyond the water loom dim to the eye.
Beware when giant crocodiles emerge, bringing harm;
Great eagles, facing north, each take to their separate flight.
The general intends to restore the bronze pillar's form,
And looking down on the Southern Sea, he'd swallow its might.
