九年修煉功成，駕著仙鶴雙雙飛昇，
只留下冰冷的丹灶，再無一絲煙雲。
往日的衣冠，至今還埋藏在墳墓裡，
當時的雞犬，也一同升上了天庭。
他漫步在瑤池之上，觀覽日月運行，
歷經了多少次滄海變為桑田的變遷。
可憐他返回黃野故地時已為時太晚，
便留在人間，做了個地仙。

Nine years of toil, he soared on cranes in flight,
Leaving behind a cold, smokeless alchemical site.
His robes and cap, of old, are buried in a tomb,
His chickens and dogs, back then, to heaven found their room.
He strides the Jasper Pool, beholds the sun and moon,
And sees the sea turn mulberry fields, time's constant boon.
Alas, he returned late to the Yellow Wilds' embrace,
To stay on earth, an immortal in this mortal space.
