Sitting upright, we exhaust the knowledge of past and present; opening our robes, we meet the sages.
When fatigued, we sometimes raise the white cup; during breaks, we may discuss mysteries.
Gaining inspiration, we forget dusk and dawn; inscribing our names, we record the passing years.
Resting the brush, we ponder precise arguments; closing the scroll, we regret forgotten chapters.
Errors both great and small are all corrected; who would dare raise an objection?
