在泉城想要修建一個儲存麥子和穀物的糧倉，
鄰居慷慨地分給我五畝田地。
不必詢問三吳之地那位姓朱的隱士，
他似乎勝過我家鄉的揚子云。
一年的陰晴雨雪牽動著我們的憂喜，
終身的豐裕或儉約取決於安逸還是勤勉。
我們家世代以來都是耕讀傳家、自給自足，
子孫們不必以從事鋤地耕耘的農活爲恥。
