十分春色已有九分凋殘，
計算著日子，追尋遊賞直到夜深。
月光照著殘餘的花朵，光彩如燭火般明亮，
露水垂掛在新生葉片上，影子團團簇簇。
培土在萱草背後尤其應當厚實，
從荷池汲水引灌，莫要讓池水枯乾。
眼看暖風就要催促暑熱景象到來，
總須準備兩三件美好的玩賞事物。

Counting the days, I chase pleasures till night turns to gray.
The moon shines on lingering flowers, their glow like candlelight,
Dewdrops hang on fresh leaves, casting shadows round and bright.
Mound the soil thick behind the daylilies, that's the best care,
Draw water to fill the lotus pond, don't let it go bare.
Soon the warm wind will hasten the summer's blazing view,
We must have two or three fine delights to see us through.
