江邊郊野草木蔥蘢，景色明麗，
雲彩與江水相映，色彩絢爛。
曲折的河岸陡峭地伸入水中，
迴旋的深潭像車輪般轉動。
先生（我）對此感到喜悅，
鋪開席子，悠閒安坐。
初升的太陽向下照耀，
水底的魚兒俯身就能看見。
心意在垂釣本身而忘記了魚，
以這釣竿和釣線為樂。
悠然自得啊，
玩賞著萬物變化的妙趣。

Where cloud and water gleam in light.
The rugged bank cuts deep inside,
The whirling pool turns like a tide.
The master finds delight in this,
And lays his mat in idle bliss.

And joy in rod and line's sheer sight.
