作祟者豈能逃脫泥濘溼滑，
推究情由當歸咎於穀物孤單。
豆蔻的花梢不應如此沉重，
已驚怪荼蘼的葉子長得粗寬。
年去年來誰能奈何得了，
酒酣時擊缶伴著嗚咽悲嘆。

The mischief-maker can't escape the muddy, slippery ground,

Already strange, the roseleaf raspberry leaves grow coarse and new.
Years come and go, who can withstand the tide?
