白話文翻譯
白浪滔滔的江上，有一位白髮老翁，
竹葉酒杯旁邊，是叢叢竹葉隨風搖動。
烹煮大雁的罪過，本因大雁而起；
“並非魚的快樂”這話，魚兒的感受豈會相同？
醉或醒，都不覺得天地有何不同；
生與滅，早知如同水鏡一般虛幻空濛。
嚴子陵向來沒有世俗的念頭，
謝郎今日也繼承了這般家風。

On the white-crested waves, an old man with hair white as snow,
By the bamboo-leaf cup, a thicket of bamboo leaves grows.
To cook the wild goose is a sin, yet from the goose it came;
"Not fish's joy"— how could the fish's feeling be the same?
Drunk or sober, I find no change in heaven and earth;
Rise and fall, I know all is empty as water's mirror from birth.
Yan Ziling never had a worldly thought in his mind;
Master Xie today carries on his family's kind.
