寶剎如鳳凰翱翔之地，
靈祠就刻在鹿門山上。
天風奏響林間的天籟，
海上升起的太陽驅散了山岩的昏暗。
令人目眩的三休閣需要多次歇息才能登臨，
莊嚴的佛陀是兩足之尊。
山峰迴環，只覺秀美異常，
瀑布遙遠，不知其源頭在何方。
花朵輕拂講經的席位，
蓮花沉浮，作爲記時的漏壺。
道場欣然，大象被降伏，
內心境界平靜，躁動如猿的心念止息。
參悟真理，心機迅捷如電，
觀照空性，心性回歸本根。
聲聞、緣覺、菩薩三乘皆有修行之路，
但我的歸途車駕，該在何處停駐？

A jeweled pagoda, a land where phoenixes soar,
A sacred shrine carved at the Deer Gate's door.
Celestial winds play the forest's symphony,
The sea's sun breaks through the cliff's dark canopy.
The dizzying tower, three rests to ascend,
Majestic, the Buddha, on two feet we depend.
Peaks twist and turn, I only sense their grace,
The waterfall's distant, its source a hidden place.
Blossoms brush the seat where sutras are told,
Lotus sinks, marking time, in the water-clock's hold.
The Dharma hall rejoices, elephants subdued,
The mind's realm calms, the monkey-thoughts pursued.
Engaging with truth, the mind's lightning-quick,
Contemplating emptiness, nature finds its root, thick.
Three vehicles all have their paths to tread,
But where, oh where, shall my returning carriage be led?
