氈帳之城遠在萬里之外，風雪交加，嚴寒刺骨；
我此行雖然艱險，卻能換來漢家朝廷的安寧。
漢室已然安定，我卻要在此終老一生；
我的容顏，在這穹廬氈帳之中，豈能長久美好？
漢家的將相們多有良策；
還會挑選更多美貌女子，充滿後宮掖庭。
單于世代請求和親聯姻；
漢朝的邊塞自此將不再有戰火煙塵。

The felt-walled city lies a thousand miles away, in bitter wind and snow;
My journey, though perilous, secures the Han court's peace, I know.
The Han court's peace is won, yet I must age and die alone;
How can my face, beneath the nomad's tent, retain its fair, bright tone?
The Han's high ministers have many a cunning plan in store;
They'll choose more radiant beauties to fill the palace as before.
The Khan seeks peace through marriage, age on age, his plea to send;
Henceforth, the Han frontier shall know no dust raised by the foe, nor end.
