身居茅屋簷下，深居簡出，謝絕了送往迎來。
廚子們揮刀宰割，羊肆里一片喧鬧；
獵戶們張弓搭箭，活動在皇家禁營附近。
雲層破開，日光如線，橫貫在山間道路上；
雨已停歇，煙靄低垂，輕撫著柔美的嫩草花英。
聽說地方長官減輕了租稅契約；
私下約定我們農民一起結對耕作。

Warmed by my sable robe, my sickly frame feels light;
Beneath my thatch, I shun the world, retired from sight.
The butchers cleave their meat, the market's clamor grows;
The hunters bare their fangs, near royal camps they close.

After the rain, mist veils the tender grass, behold.
