接連十天出浴後前往道山山頭，
租賃一間蕭瑟的屋舍以避世漫遊。
徒然胸中積鬱著不平的塊壘，
或許皮相之下暗藏著褒貶春秋。
乘坐劣馬駕的破車，有愧於鄉里的品評；
託身於皮製的酒囊，笑看客居的憂愁。
煙囪彎曲未被燻黑，賓客坐著感到清冷，
不時聽到庭院中麻雀的啁啾鳴叫。

For ten days I left the bathhouse, heading for the mountain's crest,
Renting a humble cottage to escape the world and roam.
In vain does my bosom harbor these lumps of discontent,
Could it be that beneath the skin, autumn and spring hold their home?
In a slow cart, I shame the village's social grade;
Riding a leather flask, I laugh at the traveler's woe.
The crooked chimney unstained by smoke, guests sit in the cold,
Now and then, I hear the courtyard sparrows' chirping flow.
