在林下感傷那殘餘的歡愉，
流散的芬芳隨著雨水凋殘。
香氣已盡數歸於蜂房，
殘紅浸入燕巢的泥中變得乾枯。
夢境太短，來不及化成蝴蝶；
愁腸百轉，卻遮掩了鸞鏡。
所以它應當結成奇異的果實，
拿去投擲給潘安。

Beneath the woods, I feel the fading joy,
The fragrance drifts away with rain's employ.
The scent returns to honeycombs, all spent;
The crimson sinks in swallow's mud, now rent.
Too brief the dream to turn into a butterfly;
My heart turns back, yet screens the phoenix's cry.
Thus it should form a fruit of different kind,
To cast at Pan An, leaving him behind.
