身處郊野更覺幽靜清寥。
地方僻靜，黃菊早早開放，
天空遼闊，落葉之聲蕭蕭。
農人們一齊走上田壟勞作，
黯淡的夕陽半沉入城牆之下。
除了陶淵明那樣的隱逸先賢，
還能同誰傾訴我此刻的情懷呢？

Again we meet the Double Ninth, its name renowned,
Dwelling in the wilds, I find serenity profound.
In this quiet place, the yellow chrysanthemums bloom early,
Under the vast sky, the sound of falling leaves is heard clearly.
Farmers all ascend the ridges, their work to resume,
The setting sun hangs half-sunk, casting gloom on the town's fume.
Save for the recluse Tao Qian of old,
With whom else could I share this feeling untold?
