達摩的正宗法脈，是禪僧修行的根本依據。
可嘆迷失者成群結隊，睜著眼睛卻在打瞌睡。
頭頂上是天，腳底下是地。
耳朵能聽到聲音，鼻孔能呼出氣息。
敢問禪堂中的諸位，當下這一刻把什麼來安放？
可憐雙林寺的傅大士（傅翕），卻說就只是這個說話的聲音便是。

The orthodox lineage of Bodhidharma, the monk's fundamental grasp.
Alas, the deluded gather in crowds, eyes open yet fast asleep.
Above the head is heaven, beneath the feet is earth.
Ears hear sounds, nostrils breathe air.
Dare I ask the disciples in the cloud hall, what do you place in this very moment?
Pitiful is the great layman Fu of Shuanglin, who said only this very speech is it.
