夏天的樹木掩藏在山崖下的塢中，
晴朗的沙岸環抱著柳樹成蔭的小溪。
茅草屋頂的村舍散布在遠近各處，
田埂上的小路交錯延伸向東西方向。
鄉野的老人靠著相連的船桅交談，
山間的禽鳥隔著竹林聲聲啼鳴。
此地的風光景物如此美好，
我想要在此選擇一處幽靜的居所。

Summer trees hide in the cliffside hollow's shade,
Sunlit sands embrace the willow-fringed creek's bed.
Thatched cottages dot the village, far and near,
Field paths crisscross the land, from east to west they steer.
Old farmers chat, their boats moored side by side,
Mountain birds cry out, beyond the bamboo's divide.
The scenery here is so fair and fine,
I long to dwell in this secluded shrine.
