暮春時節，黃鶯在鳴叫，
農家的交談聽起來很悅耳。
雨水和陽光都不違背農時，
麥子長高了，桑葉正青翠。
烹煮豬肉，斟上清酒，
在廟中向神靈表達謝意。
占卜顯示田蠶之事皆有好兆頭，
歡快的聲音響徹林野。
祭祀結束後，人們各自散去，
成羣的鳥兒啄食著祭余的腥膻。

In late spring, the orioles sing their song,
The farmers' talk is pleasant to the ear.
Rain and sun follow the seasons along,
The wheat grows tall, mulberry leaves appear.
We cook pork and pour out the clear wine,
In the temple, to thank the gods divine.
With good omens for crops and silken thread,
Joyful shouts through the woods and fields are spread.
When the rites are done, each goes his own way,
Flocks of birds peck at the remnants of the day.
