在寒窗邊寂寞地度過了殘冬，
迎來了春天，卻又遭遇風雨交加。
芬芳的思緒悠悠飄遠，空自徒勞，
清雅的游賞從容舒緩，能與誰同往？
林梢淡淡塗抹著煙霧，天色初晴，
菜葉新抽嫩芽，泥土隨即消融。
多謝屋簷上殷勤喜鵲的歡舞，
數聲鳴叫足以讓夕陽中的我欣喜。

By the cold window, lonely, I passed the fading winter's day,
Welcoming spring, only to meet with rain and wind's sway.
Sweet thoughts wander far and wide, in vain they drift away,
Leisurely outings, gentle and slow—with whom shall I stray?
On forest tips, a light mist veils where clearing skies begin,
New shoots of vegetables sprout as soil thaws from within.
Many thanks to the eager magpie dancing on the eaves,
A few cheerful cries suffice to gladden sunset's leaves.
