不辭巇險訪龍潭，潭底無窮碧似藍。

bù cí xī xiǎn fǎng lóng tán， tán dǐ wú qióng bì sì lán。

亂石鳴灘溪過九，飛泉瀉瀑塹分三。

luàn shí míng tān xī guò jiǔ， fēi quán xiè pù qiàn fēn sān。

雖然道士能相引，不比樵人得盡諳。

白話文翻譯

我不畏山路險峻，去探訪龍潭；

潭水深處無窮無盡，碧綠得如同靛藍。

溪水流過九處亂石灘，發出喧響；

飛瀉的泉水像瀑布一樣，將深壑分成三股。

雖然道士能夠爲我引路，

卻比不上樵夫對這裡了如指掌。

令人惆悵的是，那高懸的飛橋無路可通；

或許乘風而行，才能駕馭雲車前往。

Undeterred by the perilous path, I seek the Dragon Pool;

Its depths, an endless blue, resemble the hue of indigo.

Through nine bends, the stream clamors over chaotic stones;

The flying spring splits into three as it cascades down the cliff.

Though the Taoist guide can lead me on this way,

He does not match the woodcutter's thorough familiarity.

Disheartened, the soaring bridge offers no passage;

Riding the wind, one might yet drive a cloud-drawn chariot.
