樹根中空，螞蟻聚集封堵。
幸好被刀斧所遺棄，
得以在霜雪中終老。

In deepest winter, it cannot block the sun,
Yet come summer, it gives birth to a breeze.

Fortunate to have escaped the axe's edge,
It grows old amidst the frost and snow.
