太陽環繞著欄杆，仿佛一握之大的天空。
暮色中的青山下，青草萋萋，歌扇輕搖，
美人彈奏著瑤瑟，目送鴻雁消失在黃昏的天邊。
江都的月色下，隱隱傳來吹奏之聲，
建業的船隻在月光中弄影，翩翩起舞。
自古以來東流的江水早已逝盡，
而今秋色又一次來到樓前。

The sun circles the railings, a handful of sky ablaze.
Green grass at dusk, beneath the hill, where song fans sway,
A beauty by the jasper zither, where wild geese fade away.

Ships from Jianye dance with shadows in the pale moonlight.
The waters flowing east since ancient times have passed and gone,
Yet autumn hues now meet again before this tower at dawn.
