秋天從哪裡來，停留在樹木之間？
旅途中寂寞難耐，幾乎要生出寒意。
竹子的粉屑飄落，顯露出秋天的景色，
薜荔的青色凋零，帶著衰老的容顏。
午睡時仍有像豹腳般的蚊子飛舞，
清晨的霜早已染紅了雞冠花。
流逝的歲月偷偷地在吟詠中更替，
詩人就這樣老去，白白地虛度了光陰。

Where does autumn come to dwell among the trees?
In travel's solitude, a chill begins to freeze.
Bamboo powder falls, revealing autumn's hue,
Creepers wither green, bearing aged visage too.
At noon, mosquitoes still like leopard's feet take flight,
At dawn, frost long has dyed the cockscomb red and white.
Stealthy years in my chanting quietly change their course,
Aging the poet, leaving him to vain remorse.
