孤高的芬芳獨自保持高潔，無從流俗，
百花爭奇鬥豔時，它卻不敢輕易盛開。
在江邊的驛站旁，它傾側著身姿，與明月相伴，
在冰雪凝結的雪山中，它卻帶來了春天的氣息。
樗翁（詩人自稱）忘了桂花也是潔白的，
誤說柴桑（陶淵明）不曾歌詠過梅花。

Now I know it's the true timber that endures the cold.
A lone fragrance, pure and aloof, above worldly lust,

The old fool forgot the osmanthus blooms, white and many,
