當春天來臨，一股生命的意趣開始萌發，
直到如今才變得純淨而齊整。
千樹欣欣向榮，彷彿知曉陶淵明（靖節）的志趣；
滿庭綠意交織，彷彿得見周敦頤（濂溪）的風範。
柳塘與花塢的景緻，讓人心境變得慵懶；
我手持葵扇與桃笙，獨自攜行。
天氣尚且清和，還未到溼熱蒸騰之時；
那竹林亭西的景色，每一天都如此宜人。

In spring, a single vein of life's intent did start,
And only now it reaches purity and grace.
A thousand trees, in thriving, know the hermit's heart;
A courtyard, clad in emerald, shows the master's face.
The willows by the pond, the flowers in the glade, have eased their care;
With palm-leaf fan and bamboo mat, I stroll without a fret.
The air is still serene, not yet with sultriness ensnared;
Each day, west of the bamboo pavilion, is lovely yet.
