百尺高樓之上，燕子翩翩飛翔，
樓上的美人正緊鎖著她翠綠的眉頭。
將軍一去，音容笑貌已遠隔天涯，
只有往年的舊燕，依然在每年春天歸來。
昨夜的春風吹進了幽深的庭院，
春色依舊如故，卻再也見不到那個人。
只剩下明月，照耀著我孤獨的睡眠，
回首往日的恩情，空自留戀，難以釋懷。

Upon the tower, a fair maiden knits her emerald brows in sigh.
Since the General left, his voice and face have faded far and nigh,

Spring's hues remain the same, but the lady is nowhere in the scene.
