亭閣如雉鳥飛翔，華美的建築已然落成，
賓客到來爲它贏得了一個美好的名稱。
山巒排列，像千隻青螺浮現，
江水涵容，如一匹白練般平整。
吟詠著，看旅客的帆船駛過，
靜坐著，見垂釣的小舟橫陳。
獨自倚靠在雕花的欄杆外，
令人感到心魂與骨骼都一片清新。

Like a pheasant in flight, the splendid hall stands complete,
Guests arriving bestow on it a fine name, sweet.
Peaks arrayed like a thousand conches emerge in sight,
The river holds a stretch of plain silk, smooth and white.

Sitting, I see the fishing boats lying arow.
Leaning alone outside the carved rail, I stay,
