On the road, far from my homeland I stray.
Over mountains and rivers, my journey is long;
Wind and rain add to my sorrowful song.
Green trees host birds in their mutual chatter;

I do not mind the endless road I tread;
But feel ashamed for the spring light I've left unsaid.
